At OCONUS PCS, you may have unaccompanied baggage as part of your weight allowance. UB is shipped to your new location ahead of you while you wait for all your household items to arrive.
According to United Travel policies, military members are eligible for 2,000 lbs. unaccompanied baggage (not as a whole family member). This amount will be counted as part of your PCS weight allowance.
